When my hair feels like it needs a little extra love, I always reach for a hair mask. Hair masks have been essential in my hair care routine ever since I decided to wear my hair long – they give my hair an extra boost of healthy hydration in less than 30 minutes! Since we’ve been in quarantine, I’ve been spending a little more time on self care and finding that a nourishing but affordable hair mask is my go-to when I draw a bath.
If you don’t already use hair masks or are unfamiliar with them, hair masks are a great extra step in your hair routine to really bring some extra nutrients to your hair. I usually will brush my hair, dampen it, and comb the hair mask through using a large, flat comb. I like to leave my hair masks on for as long as possible, but if you’re in a time crunch, even 5 min will do – and wash out! The end result is smooth, frizz-free, tangle-free hair.
