For a really long time, I was so scared to wear yellow and orange and avoided those colors at all costs. About 2 years ago, I bought a yellow midi dress (my comfort zone for clothes) that surprisingly looked good on me and my obsession with the color grew. Yellows and oranges now make me the most happy because they’re the colors of bright days and sunshine! I can’t imagine my closet without them – it’d be a duller place, that’s for sure! 💛
I saw this wonderfully orange bikini from Aerie and I was immediately reminded of sunflowers – and since we’re approaching the end of flower season here in sunny LA, we decided to create some flower patches of our own! 🌻 As you know, Aerie is one of my favorite brands – not only for all they do to inspire women of all shapes and sizes but also for their diverse cuts in swimwear! They know that different women need different coverage, and they do their part to provide it. This high-waisted bottom is amazingly full coverage on my tushy, and paired with the wide straps on top, it makes this bikini so athletic and perfect for an active day out! 🤸🏻♀️
I hear so often from you guys in my comments that you’d never be able to pull off a certain color and I’m here to tell you once and for all that YOU CAN! Give it a chance – if you’re afraid to try a color, I encourage you find an item that you’re comfortable with that’s with a color you’re uncomfortable with, like a neon pink oversized tee, to break out of your comfort zone. I bet you’ll love it! What’s fun about life without taking a few chances anyway? 😜
Aerie is dedicated to help women break out of their comfort zones and spread confidence! They’re doing it by their promise of donating $1 (up to $50,000!) to the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) for every unretouched bikini photo tagging @aerie and #AerieREAL. Since summer is fast approaching, I encourage you to spread the body love by sharing your bikini pics! DM them to me if you do – I’d love to spread some love my fellow females by liking and commenting on your beautiful photos and support you like you support me! xx

I really like the bright colors! <3 🙂 I'm the same – in the past, I was a bit scared to wear such a bright color, but last year, I bought my first yellow crop tee, and now I just can't get enough of it!
